Astak is going to launch its first eBook reader, the EZ Reader, in late November 2008. Astak’s first EZ Reader is powered by a Samsung Arm9 200MHz processor, 32MB SDRAM. It features the ePaper E-Ink technology and comes with a 6-inch 800×600 display.

Sharp announced that they have developed the world’s thinnest 5 Megapixel aut focus CMOS camera module. The CMOS module is really tiny, measuring 9.5 × 9.5 × 6.6mm. It will go into commercial production in June 30, 2008.
